 OVERVIEW

The Gymnastics Course Online is designed for CrossFit® coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, personal trainers, clinical practitioners and athletes. We aim to provide insight into how to best coach and train bodyweight movements within your perspective environments. We will enhance movement understanding, training practices and coaching approaches. The course will have short knowledge check sections at the end of each unit, and the course is to be done in order. Once the procedure is completed there will be a thirty question multiple-choice exam to attain certification, you would need to achieve 80% or higher. This course awards 35 CrossFit® CEU’s.

 Whether you have completed our Level 1 course before, want to have pre-learning before attending your Level 1 or want to take advantage of an online format during the current world situation. This course has been designed so you, the learner, can progress at your own pace and benefit from the underpinning knowledge that we provide. Learning will occur in all three primary cognitive development areas: visual, auditory and kinaesthetic.

We will give you written descriptions of different areas or concepts to read and understand. Then, we present videos and pictures that support the written portions and benefit from visual aids. Finally, we will suggest practical exercises from both the coach and athlete perspectives. We aim to develop your coaches' eye ability to be a more effective coach or a more excellent athlete.

It doesn't matter whether you're a coach or an athlete; we know that we can help develop you on a personal and professional level. Deliberate gymnastic improvement is what will take you to the next level.

PREPARATION

  • Take notes, have a note pad or the ability to save notes on a computer.

  • Computer, tablet or smart phone with internet connection.
